Only 1 follicle for IUI

I was on 50 mg clomid last month and had only 1 matured follicle. The IUI did not work. The doc increased my dose to 100 mg. I had my second IUI yesterday, but again I had only 1 matured follicle. Are there any hopes for this IUI to succeed??

Hi,

I just had my IUI done yesterday. I too only have one follicle. I am hopeful that it will work. I know that the chances are not as great but like everyone has says...it only takes one. Good luck to all of you!!

As someone wrote before, it just takes ONE follicle to make you conceive. If you bd at the correct time I think it should work. I too had just one mature follice at 100 mg. Now this cycle i took clomid for 10 days, as per docs suggestion, and this time both ovaries are showing 2-3 follicles growing. Dont know whethet they will get matured, but atleast this time the population of follicles is more. Last cycle it was just 1 .

Most important thing, dont get stressed up..it changes the hormonal balance.
