Oophorectomy

I just had laproscopic surgery where they removed my Left ovary.  Does nayone know what side effects I should be aware of?  Will I have any hormone related issues?  Changes in hair or skin?  Does it efffect sex drive?  Do any of these things improve or get worse as a result of only having one ovary?

I'm sorry you had to go through that, but from what I know, I don't think having one ovary will impact any of those things at all.  My friend had hers removed about a year ago, we talk extensively about our issues and she's never mentioned anything that was a result of having one ovary.  And I can't think of any reason why it would affect those things.  Good luck to you
