Ovarian Drilling

Hi all

Has anyone out there had ovarian drilling? I had it done 2.5 weeks ago, and just wanted to compare stories with someone else that has also had it done. I'm 28, PCOS, 2 cycles of Clomid & 1 cycle of FSH with no luck. Eggs not maturing. I'm interested in how long it has taken people to fall pregnant after ovarian drilling.

I had ovarian drilling done, and became preggo that year. I tried with no meds the first 3mo. after the drilling with no luck, so i started on clomid and it worked. I now have 2 crazy little boys 2 and 5. Good luck. SSBD*********************

Hi I had the drilling in January 2010 within 5 weeks I started my first non medicated AF!!  At my post op ultrasound I had a 13mm follicle(biggest ever for me) then with some tamoxifen I ovulated that cycle for the first time ever!  This week we will be doing our third IUI and hopefully I will have a success story for you soon.  but I think it's pretty awesome that the surgery alone reset my hormones and allowed me to have a period and with minimal medication I ovulated.  before the drilling we did 5 cycles of clomid without any maturing follicles the largest I had was 8mm.    Good luck!!  After three years of ttc I was sure I would never ovulate and I still don't think I would have without the surgery.   I think it was the best move we made so far!
