Ovidrel confusion

i had taken the Ovidrel trigger shot 2 days before IUI(friday). But then was told to take the shot again 6 days after IUI(today).
i am confused...why am i taking the Ovidrel shot again? I should be done ovulating and have already done the IUI.

thanks...that makes sense :) there is always so much information to retain. i usually forget half of it. also thanks alot for telling me the side effects....ive had sore BB, and some nausea...i was thinking maybe im pregnant and getting major early symptoms.
i must be still feeling the side effects from the last trigger shot.
That really ***** that i have to wait longer.....uggggh. The torterous wait !

it's a booster shot. it's HCG to boost a pregnancy if there is one. now you jut have to wait longer to take a HPT. and you will fell pregnant from that shot (sore BB, nausea, etc). good luck.

I have heard of some people taking a second trigger shot but I am not sure why some people are told to and most only take one.  I think it could onlyu improbe your chances though so don't worry.
