Ovulation timing question

My cycle is normally 28 days but last month AF came 2 days early so it was 26 days,
Last month I had an ultrasound at day 13 and there was a 14mm follicle which means I would have ovulated on day 14(apparently the follicle needs to be 18mm to burst and release the egg),  this month I started doing OPK on day 12 of my cycle, I'm day 13 today but still don't have a +ve OPK test.
is it normal to ovulate on different days each month? Do you think some months we don't ovulate at all? Maybe I ovulated early this month and I missed the LH surge, I just don't know.
I normally get ovulation pain but this month I haven't had it so far, I'm just so paranoid that I'm not going to ovulate.

We are in the same boat.  I am CD 13.  with my P/G I got a +opk on CD13 the last few months I have got + on cd15, 16, 17 so I think you can O on different days each cycle, but what do I know I'm not totally certain I O'd at all...just +OPK  Good luck.  Super sticky baby dust

Yes there are months when we dont ovulate at all.Its said that on an average 9 out of 12 cycles r ovulatory and the rest 3 r anovulatory.However u may ovulate a little late in ur cycle this time.Dont think negative.All the best....

Well last cycle I O'd on CD13.  This time, CD27!!  So it can definitely change from cycle to cycle.

Yup, o time can vary every month. Leutal phase usually stays pretty close to same. I'd keep testing, it's on the horizon :)

I ovulated on day 21 last month and day 15 this month, a little weird for me, but I didn't care, the earlier the better.
