Ovulation while on Clomid

I am currently on my 4th day of Clomid.  I noticed some cervical mucus that may be fertile.  I tend to ovulate early (days 9-12 of my cycle).  I also been cramping on my left side but I dont know if thats becuase of the Clomid.  I am currently on day 9 of my cycle, is it possible that Im ovulating like I normally would? I thought the clomid would make me ovulate later, 5-10 days after finishing the medication.  I cant take a OPK becuase Im still on CLomid so I dont know, please assist. Thanks.

Im not really sure I only took clomid for 1 cycle. But if your starting to have fertile mucus I would have intercourse every other day from here on out unless your hubby has a low sperm count.
