PCOS - Clomid

PCOS - Clomid

I have been TTC since April 06 and was diagnosed with PCOS in February.  I have taken 4 cycles of clomid, but no luck yet.  My cycles are always the same.  I start cramping ~day23, spotting on day 25 and start my period on day 27 (with or without clomid).  I took 100 mg this cycle, and had one good follicle on day 12.  We tried the old fashioned way, and my progesterone on cd22 was 30.8!  Despite the high progesterone, I have been having the usual period-like cramps for the past several days - unmistakable.  It is cd25, and I am just waiting for the spotting to start.  Any ideas on why my cycles are so strange?  Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks for the response!  Clomid is the only thing I am taking.  My doctor wants to start me on Metformin next cycle if this one doesn't take.  I wish you all the best of luck as well.
