PCOS, Clomid, Metformin HELP!!!

Hi Everyone,

here is a little background about me. I have a 5 year old daughter- I was not trying for a baby, but was having unprotected sex with my husband for 2 years and somehow she just happened. Since then, I was diagnosed with PCOS and was put on Metformin 500mg twice a day. I do not get periods on my own so I took Provera to bring down my period and then took Clomind days 5-9. I dont know if I ovulated or not, the sticks never do it for me....basically I took round 2 of clomid 50mg from June 4th-8th (my LMP was 5/30/12) today is the 26th, i took an early pregnancy test and it came back negative. :( I am feeling really hopeless because its just not working for me. Everyone around me is pregnant, all my friends and my husbands friends, and no one seems to have this hard of a time conceiving.

Are there any success stories out there? Im going nuts!!! Please share your stories with me.

I know how it feels, but I read that some women ovulate as late as day 25 so keep trying :) I think I will start 100mg next month

I took clomid 100 mg 6/8 thru 6/12 my expect ovulation day is betwen 6/17-6/22 I tested on 6/21 and it showed one line and then a very faint line I am wondering if I ovulated because I tested on 6/22 and it was negative. I feel just like u! We have been trying for months now and no luck! I had a tubal reversal Sept 2011

Your doctor needs to monitor you to see if your ovulating. I would think the opks would be accurate. I've gotten a response from them and have pcos. I take Metformin 850mg. I am going thru ivf and did have a pregnancy in may but lost it. If your not ovulating your not going to become pregnant. Call your doctor so they can monitor your cycle. Best of luck to you!
