I am going for a ultrasound tomorrow to find out whether i have PCOS. what will happen if i do have this thing. i have had two pregnancy one ended at 5month and the other at about 6weeks. i want to have baby desperately. can you please help me.
I was told 7 years ago that I had PCOS. Then just recently I was told I did not have PCOS only because in my blood work they found that I was not insulin
resistent. When they told me 7 years ago thats what I had All they did was an ultrasound so please Don't let them tell you that you have PCOS just by an Ultrasound. If they do discover that you have PCOS they might put you on something called Metformin and some sort of fertility meds to help you conceive. I wish you the best of luck.
I have PCOS also, and I am currently 20 weeks pregnant. I was put on avandia (similar to metformin), femara (similar to clomid), and a trigger shot to help me ovulate. I also did IUI. But I got pregnant on my second cycle of this combination. This was after trying for 6 years, but only 9 months with a reproductive endocrinologist. So I would suggest that if you do have PCOS, and you aren't currently seeing an RE, to go see one. They are much more knowledgeable about this than regular OB/GYNs. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that PCOS won't stop you from having a baby, you just have to find the right treatment for your body. Good luck!
