PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

In 2003 I got pregnant and I had a miscarriage.  I had a DNC done and since then I have not had a period.  I went to the doctor and she did tests to check my thyroid and a bunch of other things and everything came back fine.  My husband and I are wanting to get pregnant again and have a baby but I am not having a period or ovulating.  I was hoping somebody can give me any ideas on what could be wrong.  Any ideas that I could talk to my doctor about would help me out.  Thank You all for listening.  My doctor put me on birth control and she told me to take it for 6 months to regulate my periods.  I had a period while I was on the pill but when I stopped taking it, my periods stopped also.  Then she gave me some hormone medicine to help me to have a period and I had one then also but then I didn't have another one.  I have no idea what is wrong and I can't have a baby without your help.  PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

I agree with Keyan and bny! Ask your doctor for progesterone to start a period and then fertility medication to help you ovulate. Best of luck!

so sorry to hear this! as keyan said, they can run some tests throughtout the month to check your hormones and do an ultrasound as well.... you can ask your dr if they can induce your period (prometrium) and then put you on some meds to induce ovulation.. they can make sure your body responds to the meds by ultrasound and labs, and then put you on prometrium during the tww!   GOOD LUCK

Oh I am sorry.... There could be many reasons as to why AF(period) is a no regular show....and you should defenetly have the right to know why....You should consider asking your doc for more tests, maybe U/S, induce AF and then do lab work during the cycle to ck on the hormones or try w/ a Specialist............... before 2003 and the D&C did you have regular periods?
