PLEASE HELP!!!

So I had my retrieval yesterday & they took out 25 eggs....great number all the nurses told us! I just got off the phone with the nurse...only 4 fertilized. My transfer is on Tuesday & I'm supposed to have 2 embryos. Did anyone have these numbers? I'm a little dissapointed...usually about 50% fertilize the nurse said, but in my case less than 20% did. Any input would be great! Thanks!

I had a smiliar experience-I had 28 follies, 12 mature eggs were retrieved.  Only 4 fertilized and I had 2 mediocre blasts transferred on day 5.  I am currently 7w1d pregnant.  Try not to worry!!  I remember thinking my whole cycle was a loss but it worked...wishing you the best of luck.

Hi, I also had a similar situation. I had 23 follies, only 8 eggs retrieved and 5 fertilized. They did a 3 day transfer of 2 embryos and I'm now 6w3d pregnant with twins! I also thought my cycle was not going to be successful. Try not to worry too much, remember it only takes 1 good embryo. Wishing you the best of luck!!
