POAS CD21 got a Negative.
Hi all I broke down and POAS and I am on CD21 and got a negative. I used Clomid CD 5-9 and got a trigger shot CD13. So I am wondering if there is any hope still for a positive or am I out for the month??
No I have to keep taking most of them until I'm past the three months, specially the progesterone. The progesterone is to help your uterine lining so it becomes stronger and you don't miscarry, once the placenta takes over (in your 3rd month) then you stop. I woke up this morning at 3am to empty my bladder and could not sleep much after cuz I'm so anxious to know if my levels are rising normally.....thanks for all the wishes, same to you!!!!!
The only thing I was on this month is 50mgs of Clomid and a trigger shot on CD13. I am on CD26 today so I think I am 11dpo...does that sound right? I think a few years ago we were trying and I had some tests run by my last dr and she gave me meds for low prolactin (does that sound right?) they were not sure why. I did have tests ran again a few months before I started ttc again and they said everything was normal. How would I know if I need to get on progesterone? I think my dr is just letting us try Clomid first and then see if I need other meds later. Wow they have you on tons of stuff! Do you stop all of that now that you are PREGNANT :) Good luck today, cant wait to hear more good news from you!! SSBD YOUR WAY!!
Had my test yesterday it was 168. It's a great number they said. In my previous pregnancies my first beta was 35 and 70. So it's a good sign...tomorrow can't come soon enough......so how long has it been now since ur ovulation? u are on day 24 of your cycle?.. The symptoms are tricky, all these meds that's true. Are you taking progesterone?..I'm on like 6 different meds, progesterone shots and suppositories, estrogen, folic acid, baby aspirin, steriods...so you don't know what's what.....thanks for all the support.....I want to hear good news from you soon!!!!
WOW CONGRATS!! Thats great news, its so nice to hear something positive on here :) I have never had a miscarriage (that I know of) so I wont say I can relate to your feelings of loss and being scared of facing another. I will keep you in my thoughts. What was your beta today? Are you having any symptoms? I have more CM than usual and I have been tired...but I blow off all my weird feelings and chalk them up to the meds or potential af. I feel she may show her ugly head soon because I am pretty irritable :( But I do still have hope!! Once again congrats and pls keep me posted!! Its ok to let yourself be happy :)
oh yeah those tests only detect high levels of hcg like over 50 or something. Clear blue digital and first response detect the hcg at 20-25. DOn't worry there is still time. I got my results, I'm pregnant Thank God. But I'm very scared. I don't want to go through another loss. I don't think I can handle it. I go in for my second blood test tomorrow, so I pray my levels are rising normally, I think i will feel better once I find out they are. I haven't even had a chance to enjoy the news because I'm so frightened.

Hi, I am doing ok....again I couldnt resist POAS this morning ($tree) even tho I know its too early still, I got a negative. I am a bit discouraged. I have decided I am going to wait a few days and then test with first response. How are you doing? Did you get your results Monday?
no I didn't get a trigger shot then, but I did for my IVF. I did it on Sunday night and had my egg retreval on Tuesday morning of last week. So my period should be due next tuesday.
Good luck to you!! It is nice to know that someone else got a BFP after testing to early...really keeps my hopes up. During your past attempts did you have a trigger shot? I really hope things turn out for you and you get your BFP!!!
it sounds like you might have ovulated two eggs. They have to be at least 20mm to release so yeah most likely. So wait at least until day 28 or 30 to test. Last time I took clomid was for our first and only IUI, I tested around day 25 and got a negative then waited till day 30 and got a quick positive, unfortunately it was an ectopic. But I got pregnant on my first cycle of clomid and same thing I tested 3 times before I got a positive on day 28 but this resulted in a miscarriage. We are now doing our first cycle of IVF and go in on monday for my result..this wait is terrible tho, I guess u never get used to it. I'm scared to test at home for that same reason of getting a false negative. I'm 27 and we had 4 embies transferred so I'm trying to stay positive and have faith, that's all we can do for now....good luck to you.
THANKS SO MUCH!! You did give me hope. I was confused about the trigger shot but had read that some ladies were getting BFP early so I went out and bought a few dollar tree tests and that is what I used. I had 2 follies on CD13 size 22.8 and 20 so does that mean I had two eggs? All of this is so new to me...I had tried to have another child for about 10 yrs after my first two were born and finally decided to get some help and all this information is alittle overwhelming. Thanks again for the reassurance!!
hi there, yes there is still hope. It takes 7 to 12 days for implantation after ovulation. You ovulated about 36 hrs after your shot. so around day 15. It's till very early. I've tested early before and gotten a false negative while on clomid. Remember that hpt only detect your hcg once it has reached 30units. So it takes time to reach that number after implantation. Don't loose hope, stay positive and relax. If you must test I would wait until day 25 to test again and even then you might get a false negative, even ith those early pregnancy test. while i was on clomid I realized my cycles were longer, about 30 to 35 days and that's because i was ovulating 2 eggs. So don't worry sweetie.
