POST VASECTOMY PAIN ANY HELP?

I had a vasectomy over a year ago and have been experiencing pain during erections in the penis.  The Urologist said to take vitamin E 800 i.d. for two months and see what the situation develops into, however he did not offer any response to my questions as to why this has occurred.  Thanks Steve.
