PROGEST. SYMPTOMS??

I am taking Progestroen vag sup. 200mg 3x day I notice today I am getting a rash on my face not itchy but little bumps that can be felt when touched. Did anybody get this or something similar?

Are you taking the suppositiories, or using the Prometrium vaginally?

Some docs prescribe the Prometrium to be used vaginally. But the outer layer contains peanut oil, and some people are allergic to it.

I broke out and got little bumps with it too.  My dermatologist told me that progesterone is the hormone that really makes you break out.

Oh my goodness, since taking progesterone, my face looks like aweful!  I didn't even break out like this when I was 16!!!!!!!!

Then, go with Jen's answer. Although I've never broken out from taking progesterone, I believe her and her dermatologist. :) Hormones can do whacky things to our bodies.
