Painting in 2WW?

Hi everyone!

I'm pretty sure I'm 1 dpo today, and I know that if the egg gets fertilized, it will still take a week or so before it (hopefully) implants and "hooks up" to my blood system, but I wanted to ask this anyway:

We're thinking about painting the dining room tomorrow, and I know you should stay away from paint fumes when pregnant, but is it OK to paint during the 2WW?

I think it's ok to paint the room, but if you can be careful not to expose to the paint fume.  any chemicals will harm you and the baby.  especially when we are in 2ww.  Better be safe than be sorry.  The first trimester always a critical time for pregnancy.

We didn't end up painting after all...but I will keep your comments and the articles in mind if/when we do.
