I too have pcos. We were able to conceive via fertility specialist twice and both times we didn't worries or complications that resulted from the pcos. First pregnancy resulted in second trimester loss but that was due to cervix issues. 2nd pregnancy also healthy, received cerclage and delivered premature twin boys who are the picture of health now.  I'm not sure if all other pcos pregnancies but I had no issues as a result, thank goodness. ..good luck

I have PCOS and I was able to get pregnant with the help of a fertility specialist. My husband has morphology issues as well. I was given Clomid to ovulate and once I got pregnant I had to take progesterone to keep from having a miscarriage. PCOS causes the lining to not be thick enough to sustain the pregnancy so you want to make sure you are working with a doctor to assist you. My husband and I got pregnant through IUI with a fertility specialist. We tried twice and were able to get pregnant so it can happen. Good luck!

I have been diagnosed with pcos for almost 10 years and have been trying for about that time with my hubby. In September we went to a fertility clinic and I had every test possible done. In the end they recommend IVF because of my age, 31, weight and well my knees have kept me from doing work, pottery. But mainly because of my husbands age. He is 42 and after IUI 3 times they conclude he had a count of .6. Mill. So long and short is IVF with ICSI. If you have pcos then I recommend going to an expert. There also might be issues with the hubby too, you would want all info so you can make whatever choice you want. Go to your gyno doc and ask for a recommendation. In four periods from now I will have an ongoing post to share my and my husbands experience and the ins and outs. We have an ivf seminar next month and then follow appointment to go over everything. Oh and when and if you do go to a fertility specialist I really recommend doing cycle monitoring. Here in Canada some things are cheaper but in upstate new York ivf, icsi and iui is actually cheaper but it is worth it. I spent a fortune in kits and stuff only to find out that the test strips were giving false readings, food for thought. Good luck‼

yes you can still get pregnant. you just need to be violating a normal period normally indicates you are ovulating. If the ovulationkit is positive that is a great sign God Bless :)
