Period is MIA

Period is MIA

Hey girls...
So, I'm new to this board, but I figured this may be the best place to get a little encouragement.  I got off the pill in April, and I have not had a period since. :(  My doctors found that my prolactin levels were increased to 53 (they are supposed to be between 3-30), so they put me on bromocriptine for 5 weeks.  This has worked and my prolactin level is now down to 7.7 - yeah!  However, I still have not had my period.  My endocrinologist and obgyn have both said that sometimes it can take your body "awhile" to start cycling again.  Does anyone know how long this may take?  I am supposed to see the doctor next week, but I am not thrilled to have to wait on this!  Also, if anyone has been through this (or knows someone who has), did you try Provera for 10 days to jumpstart your body or does that just work for something different?  Man, I am so tired of dealing with all this stuff and it has only been 4 months of frustration!!!
Thanks girls for all your help. :)

I had a m/c in June and a D and C on June 19th.  I also haven't had a period since then.  I was supposed to get one in 4-6 weeks...well my RE mentioned Provera..but I still have HCG in my system and for some reason it's going up...I'm not sure what's going on.  Provera wil help you start your period..good luck
