Period or implantation bleeding

I had by period on dec 9th, I have a 32 day cycle and had sex on the 15th, 25th, and 28th. I was expecting my period on jan 10th but got it a day early, It wasnt too heavy but not light enough to think it could be implantation bleeding, well 2 days later it completely stopped and saw like a very dark discharge, like brown blood. My period usually lasts 5 days, now Im wondering if t could be implantation bleeding and not my period,  I also have sharp pain in my left side  of my abdomen. I don't know if its too early to take a HPT. Could I be pregnant?

sounds like a possibility but I have learned that there are so many reasons why our periods could change from month to month, and also so many signs/symptoms of menstural cycles are the same as being pregnant!!  We have been trying to get pregnant and I try to just wait until I get a positive HPT before I get too excited.  Hopefully you are pregnant if that is what you want.  Good luck
