Period returning after Lupron Injections

Hi There,

I recently completed 6 month of Lupron injections after having surgery to remove some endometriosis.  What I am wondering is if anyone that has been on Lupron can tell me how long it took them for their period to return after their injections? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank You :)

I have endo but have never done lupron.  If you have any other questions about it - you may want to try the endometriosis forum - it doesn't get as much traffic so it may take a while to get a response, but I'm sure there's more women there who have been through it.

good luck!

That makes sense.  My last shot was in Janauary... so it should be running out here in a day or two, so hopefully I get it in a couple of months.   I've seen though that some women don't get it back for months and months.  That is just what worried me. Thanks for your input!

Hi! during my 6 month on Lupron, my last shot was in March, AF came on June....I read somewhere a long time ago that Lupron takes around 2 months (cycles) to get it out of your system .I think this is what happend....March-April = 30 days of treatment from the last shot, then April-May = 1 month and May-June = 2nd month....I think I did O in this 2nd month. hope this helps.
