Please Help - reversal didn't work!!

My fiance had a reversal last year just over a year after having his Vasectomy. He was 36 at the time so the Doctor was hopeful of success given his age, and the time between both operations. His first sperm test (at 6 weeks) came back at 8 million so was thought to have been successfull. A year on we still haven't concived so we did another test and it has come back at 0.1 Million. We are devestated. Does anyone have any advice for us. Does this mean that our chance for children is over now?
