Please help!

I'm trying my first baby for 3yrs and 39yr old, 4 nature IUIs, 3 IVFs resulted in early miscarriage and tube prenagncy (remove 1 tube) in the last 2 IVFs.  Now, I just swicth to new insurance, and they cover 100% for IUI only.  Should I try IUI again or just pay out of pocket for another IVF?  Please help me to make decision.  I know I'm getting old and if keep doing IUI my change is low since I only have one tube left.  However, IVF is too expensive and I'm in alot of debt because of 3 IVFs in the past.

This is a hard one - I guess weighing the pro/cons is about the only thing you can do.  you could do a couple more IUI's - 100% covered but if they don't work, you lose precious time.  IVF is expensive but has a higher success rate.

If it were me, I'd probably evaluate according to what my reason for infertility.  If unexplained, I probably would go for a couple more IUI's and then move back to IVF.  But that is strictly my guess - I don't know what your reason for infertility is & how it's related to IUI's and IVF's.

What does your re recommend?

It's depend on you.. IVF has more chance to conceive than IUI.. If you can afford the IVF, then why not.. If insurance cover for IUI, then you can try again... 39 years old have lower percent to conceive than younger woman...

This is personal decision... don't go on debt because of this...

good luck to you

Thanks for your comments.  I have male factor, but now SA came back normal.  We're suffer with TTC for more than 3 yrs and it seems get worse since my right tube removed due to etopic one.  I know at least I could get pregnant twice with 3 IVFs and none with 5IUIs.  I want to try IUI again since i got cover 100%, but I'm so worried I'm running out of time and after 40 even I have money I don't have enough eggs to work with.
