Positive Beta of 152 @ 4 weeks...good or bad?

Well I'm getting my blood work done to see if everything is going well I just got my BFP yesterday and had my HCG done today it came back at 152...is that a good number or not? I should be about 4 or 4 1/2 weeks. It sounds good to me but the Dr said I am only maybe a week or so along...he's family practice I don't think he knew what he was talking about...what do you ladys think?

That is an awesome first beta.  Mine was 208 & I am pregnant with twins......
How would you feel if you got that? You are not that far away so ya never know.

:-) Twins would be hard but I would be happy! Hoping for a healthy baby and pregnancy so anything more then that would be fine by us. Thanks for the info, I get my second beta on Friday morning...it will only be 41 hours from my last beta so the number needs to be at least 238...so fingers crossed. Thanks again for the reply.

Sounds great. Implantation can be at different times for different women, and even in different pregnancies. It's not so important where you start it's that the numbers keep doubling as they should. Your numbers look awesome though. Have you had your progesterone tested? You should have them check just in case it's low. It's easy to supplement that, and you could prevent a loss. Congrats, and a H & H nine months and beyond!

Well I got my 2nd beta it was 362! And it was done 41 hours after the first :-) I have another beta on Tuesday so hoping it's a great number also. I have an appt with the ob Tuesday afternoon so I'm hoping they will schedule an ultrasound for the next week or so.
