Positive HPT after clomid and Hcg shot

I have been TTC for 8 months after having the Mirena in for 4 years. I have a 4 year old beautiful daughter. Started on Clomid 50mg days 5-9 of a 28 day normal cycle, ultrasound day 14 (20mm follicle) day 15 had one small HCG shot (1250iu). Stared testing 6 days after shot and had a light positive test, kept testing, had a positive test everyday. Only one day I got a very faint line almost nothing. Today is day 28 day of cycle, no sign of AF, sore boobs and darker positive HPT. However I had a blood HCG 6 days ago and it was a 3, WHICH NURSE SAID IT'S NEGATIVE. What's going on either the 1000iu a day leaving the system is wrong and I still have the 1250iu shot in my system 2 weeks later or am I pregnant?

I was told anything over 5 is pregnant.  When do you have a 2nd test to confirm?  I am sending you lots of wishes.
I am not familiar with IUI but will be starting soon.

I went to gyn/ob this morning and had a HCG and it was positive, they drew my blood. Results will be in Friday. I didnt have IUI, it was the old fashion way. I still don't want to beleive it until the blood HCG levels come in. I was so disappointed last week being it was only a 3. They say a non pregnant women has from 0-2 of HCg. But at least a 5  for pregnancy. So I'm doing the waiting game. Praying my AF won't come.
