Positive HPT's 7dpt and spotting 12dpt

I am new to the forum and am hoping to gain a little insight from you all. I have trolled the internet for countless hours starting from the top of our 2nd IVF process. A little history.

Me (donor)-34
Surr-33
12 eggs retrieved
6 fertilzed
2 8cell 1 7 cell transferred day 3
Remaining 3 didn't make it

This was a fresh ET 3/28/2010
Surr did not take HCG trigger since I was the donor
Got curious well ok truth be told from day 3 of transfer if HPT and what it would say...was ok seeing a neg since it was so early. We did not test until 7dpt3dt-used ER and faint pink (pos) line appeared-was baffled considering the early stage. Knew there was no HCG since I took that shot so was like ok since they tranferred 3 perhaps 2 are implanting and your emitting more hcg????Took digital ClearBlue that evening just because I thought I had seen the pink line just for wishful thinking...ClearBlue BFP. Took ClearBlue dig and ER again next morning 8dpt3dt (needed verification and like the thought of comparing the 2) Dig CB BFP, ER darker pos pink line. Obessed now -and crazy with excitment. 9dpt-EPT test, and ER test-ER darker again and EPT a little faint but clear BFP. 10dpt-another ER test (getting expensive this habit)...Much darker pos pink line. Feeling confident we're preg!
11DPT did not test since we have BETA Saturday...11DPT eve/middle of night-spotting darker brownish blood and cramps. Not like menstrual cramps which are typically in her ovaries but more down low toward the "hair line" as she describes it. 12DPT-a little more spotting (now described as) creamy mixed with brownish blood-not pink and still cramping.

What is to be is to be, but I am so confused, scared and anxious. We got 7 BFP on HPT and now I am scared this bleeding is AF coming. We were actually scheduled for 14DPT Beta but am asking to come in on day 13 which is tomorrow 4/10. Last Pegesterone test was a week ago and it was 80. Other than the cramping that just started no other symptoms-slightly sore nipples...

We talk to the bean(s) everyday and keep asking them to stick around, but again I know this is up to a higher power than my wishful, hopefully, desperately crazy thinking!

I haven't been able to find any other posts as it relates to positive HPT's and then bleeding this late in the game. Could this be late implantation bleeding, losing 1 or 2 of the 3 or all? Looking more for any advice, and know we'll have to just wait and see what the Beta says.

This is such a painful and long process, but feel very thankful to read all of your posts out there and wishing everyone BFP's!

You were so right!! We are BFP...spotting still a little but understand from our nurse that's ok as long as the beta's continue to look good.
Now I really wonder if we aren't blessed with 2 little beans :) This waiting is just well causing me to be more obessive than I already am, lol!
Thanks for the best wishes- I can't wait to see and to hear little heartbeat(s)!

Trying to stay away from the beta level charts!~ I was baffeled when they came back 13dpt 313 and 15dpt 858 holy cow- I started to think twins??? then oh ok maybe triplets??? Whatever we get as long as healthy we couldn't be happier.
1 more beta to go and then the wait starts for the u/s.

Hi Redhenful,

Update-we tested 4/10 beta test (since I couldn't take the HPT testing anymore) they allowed a 1 day early beta.
1st Beta 313 and progesterone high 70's so that's confirmed the HPT's were 100% right...
2nd Beta 4/12 (looking for double) and it was 858 and progesterone was 76 so still looking good.
Now obessed with is it twins...but I know that beta #'s are not always the best predictor of how many-we transferred 3 so who knows at this point :) All I care about is healthy!
We do 1 more beta tomorrow so not sure what to expect now-and they will not do an ultrasound for another 3 weeks- OMG does the waiting and worrying ever stop??

For you - I would def. say 3 days is early (we did manage to hold out until day 7) takes about 5-7days for the embie to implant...so your body wouldn't be producing enough HCG at this point for an HPT to pick it up...
I know once you start testing you can't stop...or at least I couldn't lol. But I would not read too much into HPT's until much later and even then the rule of thumb is those tests aren't nearly as reliable as the Beta since that can detect the smallest amount of HCG!

I am wishing you the best and you'll have to keep me posted. This journey is a long one and these forums are really my only source of comfort :)

Is this your 1st IVF cycle and was it an FET or a fresh cycle...how many embies did they transfer (was it a 3 day or 5 day).

Baby dust sprinkles to you!
