Positve OPK for only one day!?!

So I was going over my charts and I forgot that I had a positive OPK on the cycle day 14. I tested the day before and after and BFN! I thought it was supossed to be longer than that...at least two days...either way my guy and I covered it...intercourse day before and after...I'm so confused! I didn't have that much cm or anything! Anyone going through this??

the opk strips should indicate a positive reading anywhere from one day to two. its ok, it just told you your surge was about to happen. if you dont test twice a day you can miss that very easily. good luck i hope you got it this month!!

peeonastick.com has a nice photo display of Elle's opks showing a normal, but shorter surge. Mine have been running 12-24hrs. I have only had one cycle where I got 2 (other than 2 in one day)
