Postnatal possibly pregnant

Hi There,

I recently had my 2nd baby who is nearly 9 weeks old have had regular intercourse using no birthcontrol how soon can i do a pregnancy test ? Have had no period did breastfeed for 1 month had to stop developed a bad mastists infection. Cheers for your help.

Were you trying to get pregnant again so soon??  Women are most fertile within 6-12 weeks of having a baby.  No period after giving birth is somewhat normal for about 2-3 months from what I understand.  I'm not 100% as I'm still working on TTC #1!!

Thanks for your response, new to this site. No we were not trying for another baby, just felt pregnant sickness tired and with having no period not breastfeeding I wondered was I .Thats all so hopefully my period will return have a underactive thyroid perhaps it requires regulated.
