Pre-seed?

Well, after three failed IUIs, we are moving on to IVF in November.  I have one cycle before I start all my meds and stims and such to ttc naturally.  I need a little help!  So right now I'm on CD2 and we are planning to do Clomid cd3-7 with a trigger on cd10 and timed intercourse.  I'll do PIO too.  

Okay, so its not so natural, but its not IUI and it isn't an RE prescribed protocol.  

SO, my question is, I was wondering about Pre-seed.  Would that be helpful in this situation?  Where do I get it? What do I do with it? lol!  I'd love to get pregnant before IVF. I'm not too hopeful, but I can't just take a month off-I have to try!  If anyone could help me out-that would be great!  Thanks a ton!

I have had my tubes tied for 41/2 years, I got it done after my last child, my husband didn't want anymore kids......well he pasted away almost 4 years ago and now I'm getting remarried, I want to know if anyone has used this stuff with tubes tied?, and if it worked?

Yeah, b/c you get a min in the multi vitamin, but you need extra.  We had ran it by my RE & the only thing he said to drop which I didn't originally say was Vit. C.  I don't remember exactly why, but he said too much of that is not good for anyone.

Felsha-He is on zinc and folic acid and his multi-vitamin.

kiki-I hope the same thing that happened to you happens to us.  I'm thinking I will skip the pre-seed because CM is NEVER a problem for us.  

We see the urologist tomorrow and I am eager to hear what he has to say.

I went through 6 iui, no luck and when I went on to ivf procedures BAM BFP! I sooo hope and pray for you as well! There are sooo many deserving women on this site. My Dr. said he did not like the pre seed that he didn't have any success stories, if you have natural cm, and its not the problem( as far as being hostile) I would nix it. My Dh also had a LOW count (26 mil)  and he started a multi, and extra anti oxident vitamins and it more than doubled to 59million! We still have the lab report on our fridge! My DH is a GOOBER! He is very proud. LOL ****SSBD**** I will keep you in my thoughts! :)

That was originally the prob (one of them at least) with Dh & I.  I made him take all these supplements such as zinc, multi, folic acid, selenium, & I wanna say B12.  I could be wrong on the last one, but I know one of his results went from 5% motility to 52% in about 6 mos time.  The other ones improve to, but I don't know the specifics.

Houston, make sure hubby takes a multi and extra vitamin c.  Drink pineapple juice.   (Both)

thank you guys for the advice.  I don't have a problem with CM. I have plenty and at all the right times.  Does this mean I don't need it?  Our problems are low motility, morphology and a little low counts as well.  What do you think?

We just tried it for the first time this past cycle.  Am I TOTALLY WEIRD to say that I didn't think the tube was ENOUGH?  LOL!  I squirted it wayyyyyyyyyyyy up near my cervix and one night we even had to use TWO tubes because it was, errrr, taking too long and I was drying out!  :)  

I purchased mine because I have noticed the past several months that I didn't have an abundance of EWCM...so I thought it might help.  I've always been pretty "dry" so to speak.  Anyway, we're not a success story yet...but I'm hopeful for this cycle!  ;)

I think it would definitely be worth a shot to try...can't hurt!  SSBD TO YOU!

Last cycle I used preseed.. but only once.  And, silly me didn't read the directions carefully.  I had gotten a trial of it.  This cycle, I have 6 packs to use.  I really don't think I will need to use all 6.

Any success stories?

I LOVE PRE-SEED> DH and I have been using it for months. They have a new kind now where you don't buy pre-filled tubes, instead they are reusable tubes, or throw-away (doesnt matter) and a resealable tube of pre-seed you can insert into the tube as little or much that you need.
It's great! I recommend it!

hey gals i also wanted to mention that walmart sells this thing called pre-conceive now.  i'ts supposedly a sperm friendly lube, but i'd probably go with pre-seed first...

Houston, I have read bunches of stories where ppl conceived right before IVF.  Maybe it's destined to me your month.    Good Luck

Hello! GOOD LUCK, im praying that you get that BFP before your IVF! : )   i have gotten it online and also at a pharmacy near us ( as jess said, i just looked online for where they sell it locally) i only use half a tube when we've used it in the past.. the whole thing is a little too much! but its just like any other lubricant as jess said! GOOD LUCK!  anything is worth a try!

One word of caution. They recommend using a whole tube. Dh and I found out the hard (or rather soft, lol) way that a whole tube was too much. We use a half of a tube now. It was so slippery and gooey with a whole tube dh wasn't able to er, um, finish.

Hey, I used it for a few months and you use it just like other lubricants. You can go to preseed.com and it will tell you if any stores near you sell it or you can buy it from them. I will be praying for a mircle for the both of us. keep me posted.
