Pregnancy 3 years after vasectomy

My husband had a vasectomy, cauterized and clips, 3 years ago. We had the negative sperm analysis. I have always been on time but now I am 8 days late. I had spotting 1 time 3 days ago. What are the chances that he could have gotten me pregnant?  We thought that cauterizing and clipping would be a sure fire way tp prevent pregnancy. We can still feel the scarring/ clips, one is more prominent than the other.

Have you taken a test?  If you're 8 days past your period date, you would be sure of a correct result.
