Pregnancy symptoms

how long after one is pregnant do the symptoms start?
What are the obvious symptoms besided nasua and tender breasts?  
Also when pregnancy occurs is there any discharge that occurs?
Very curious because Im 38 days from my last cycle (normal for me is 35 days) and no signs of my period comming which I normaly feel days in advance.  Maybe its just my mind playing tricks on me.  I've been having very weird discharge  I know TMI but no type of prego symptoms and thinking maybe its too early for symptoms to start.  You can tell I really want a baby :-)

Symptoms mean absolutely nothing.

If you are late, take a pregnancy test.  If you don't start your period in another week, take another test.  If you still don't start in another week, see or call your doctor.
But no one ever listens to me on this subject.  Most everyone here would tell you to test every day, and twice on Sundays.

Peekahoo is right.  Symptoms mean nothing and they're the same as PMS.  I had every symptom under the sun and turned up BFN.  The symptoms came from the things I was doing during my tww.  I drank green tea and orange juice.  The green tea made me dizzy and the orange juice gave me heartburn.  And I think the new Listerine whitening mouthwash I bought that month was causing the nausea.  

Both pregnancies I had before I had no symptoms at all till I missed AF.  I had no clue!!  The days after AF was due I started getting symptoms.

We already have a 2 yr old son and want a 2nd baby, badly.  But its like a hit and miss with my cycles (30-40 days).  We've been tring for 4 months now, counting and counting  and nothing.  If Im not pregnant this month I will be starting clomid next menstrual cycle.  My pregnancy with my son, I had only tender breasts but mistakened it for my period.  Now after 1st pregnancy I never have any menstrual symptoms at all except mood swings.  So Im waiting for any symptom.  Nothing so far.

Hazel30-don't get discouraged! It is hard because the symptoms of pregnancy, period, fertility meds, herbs and vitamins etc are all about the same. As long as the baby has implanted and HCG is released, then you can have symptoms from pregnancy (which you still can't tell if it is period, meds etc) before implantation, those signs and symptoms wouldn't be pregnancy. Since you are late in your cycle, maybe have your doctor order you a beta HCG. Good luck to you and I hope you get a BFP, keep your hopes up and don't get discouraged. :0)
