Pregnancy test after IVF implant

We are going through our 1st IVF.  Everything has been great - no bad news.  We were implanted on 3/19.  When can I take a at home pregnancy test.  We have an appointment on 4/2, but don't want to wait that long due to my husbands business travel schedule.  He will be out of the country on 4/2 and want to share the news with him in person.

If this is your first transfer, i don't think you can take a home preggo test because of the hsc needle, it may give you a false reading. Thats what my re told me! Good luck try really hard tp wait!!!!

On my first IVF, I took a HPT on 9dpt... and it was slightly positive... I was nervous that it could be the hCG shot that I took, but I took one after that each day and they got progressively darker....so I guess you could do that too??  It's a lot of $ to waste... I only used First REsponse...you could try the dollar tree brand I guess....  good luck to you!!!  I have my ER/ET the first week in April!!!!  wahoo!!!!!!

Hi ladies: I was told not to do the home test but i did the night before I had to go in for the blood test. It was negative in both tests. I had a FET transfer on April 20 (blastocysts stage transfer). Have blood test on 29th. If negative they will do another one. Doc says sometimes with FET first blood test can be negative. I am only hoping and thinking of positives as I was told that the 2 embies transfered were some of the best. Good luck to all of us.

  need help!!! I had my embryo transfer on 10/11 and my blood test on 10/25 came negative. I haven't get my period since.  Anybody can advise me?!?!?  I have to repeat the pregnancy test on 10/29

I did my embryo transfer on sunday 11/18 and i wonder if i should take a HPT?  My pregnancy test is tomorrow

i took menopur injection and the last was 22nd of nov.
I saw a light pink discharge in the morning. can you please tell me it is my period or implantation bleeding ? i have done my home pragnancy test yet as it is too early.

Hello there everyone....I had my transfer on May 12th and even though I was advised against doing so I took a HPT and it came back negative...I have the blood work done tomorrow, has anyone had a negative result on HPT only to get a postive result with the blood test?
