Primrose Oil and conception

How does Primrose oil affect fertility? What is the latest time to start taking it to help with conception? I finally got it in the pharmacy and started taking it today. Will it help me if I had a fertilize egg already?

well I heard... that you only take for my cerivical fluid and not to take it after ovulation Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe that Evening Primrose Oil helps with the production of Cervical Mucous and is meant to be taken during the first part of your cycle, before ovulation.  I would not take it after ovulation.

Ok, Well my AF came this morning and so now I have started to take it again. Hopefully all my effort will pay off

i used Prime rose oil for one of my cycles and it did see a change in CM but i ovulated much later than usual. My cycle ended up being 41 days!

start after AF arrives but stop before ovulation. Apparently it helps alot with PMS. My sister took it and saw a HUGE differernce in her PMS symptoms.

So i took it and this is the first time in many years, about 7 or 8 years since I have experience the gummy/rubbery mucus and then a lot of fertile mucus. The first and last time i saw it was when I was about 15 or 16 and I always wondered what happened why i didn't see it again, my discharge was always creamy/harsh mucus. But now it's back, and thanks to not even one month of using evening primrose oil. Unfortunately I didn't get to TTC this month but next month definitely. I'm wondering if it was because of my harsh mucus why the sperms weren't able to travel and fertilize my eggs at all. I am very happy now, there is some hope, I have stopped taken it now because I ovulated, but as soon as AF starts I am going to buy another bottle of the capsules and continue.

As anyone else experience it working for them?

Girl that stuff does work!!! I will buy some next month as well as I already ovulated too!!! hopefully next month or even before the year ends we get our BFP's.... Please God let us be in your favor!

Wow, this stuff really helps with PMS I think I may take that is well well to help with PMS and also I am ttc as well.
