yes I might have to start bbt thank you so much for your advice! Much appreciated! X
Sometimes the OPKs don't work for people with PCOS due to rocky hormones. I'd definitely buy yourself a BBT thermometer and read the tutorials on Fertility Friend - they are super helpful! Temping can indicate if and when you are ovulating (sometimes with PCOS you don't ovulate every cycle). You can also try Vitex, it's a natural supplement that helps regulate the hormones. The progesterone should help get you on track too. You can research a lot of natural remedies for PCOS as well...there's tons of info out there! Good luck!
thank you for your reply.. I don't use ovulation tests or bbt coz I am not sure how bbt works... Before I found out I had pcos I had a go a at ovulation tests but they were always positive and some days always negative.. But so we know we are not missing fertile time we have intercourse every other day.
I have PCOS as well and really irregular cycles. I had two miscarriages last year and it turns out I have low progesterone. It will help regulate your cycle by helping balance out the constant estrogen (a real problem with PCOS). After awhile of taking it, your body will start to fall into a more regular cycle and hopefully start ovulating on a more regular basis. Do you do the BBT method and OPKs as well? It's really important to be tracking your ovulation every day since you never knew when it'll happen with an irregular cycle. Good luck!!
