after ovulation...but after getting my progesterone results yesterday, I'm a little confused. It was 41.1, which is very high for me (I was on Femara for the first time this month). Based on that, I would have thought my temperatures
would be higher than normal, but instead they're actually a little lower that what they have been at this time in previous cycles. Anyone have any idea why that is? Could it be because estrogen
with my crazy work schedule.. but i did feel like the months i've been on femara my temps have been lower in the tww than they used to be... but my temps used to get up to 99 or so druing the tww before, so not sure which is better, they are in the 97 range since being on femara and progesterone.. Well any change from negative cycles is a good thing i think so I hopet that its a good sign for you!!! keep us updated! : )
Well for me this cycle, right after ovulation my temp is stragely stuck on exact 98.07....i thot that was odd...it's not moved a point for 5 days...maybe my thermometer has gone bad....
but to answer ur question i have not idea...all i know is that temps rise after ovulation.
guess what i got me progesterone resutls...30.9
During a bfp cycle, my temp stayed pretty consistant at 98.3. My progesterone climbed and climbed, but the temp stayed relatively close. I think it hits a "max" on the temp. I don't know from anything other than experience on my own chart though.
I see the open circle on some of your temps, too. Are they taken earlier? With my new sched, my temps are done earlier and they have been lower. One day I didn't get up early, but temped at 3am when I would have gotten up then went back to sleep for 2 1/2 hrs and temped at my normal time. Weird, but the early temp was WAY lower than my normal time frame temp. I don't know if it does that every day or not. I don't want to wake up earlier every day just to see, lol
That is great progesterone, though. Wow, maybe a bfp in the works? :)
Finally after 5 days of 98.07 my temp was a lil higher 98.32....so I guess the thermometer is not bad huh!! hehe!! I just saved $10 on a new thermometer...hehe!!!
Thanks, Tina! Yeah, the open circles were taken a little earlier than normal. I hope the lower temps don't mean much. I'm certainly very happy with the progesterone results :-)
G_S: Glad to hear your thermometer is still alive :-)
