Progesterone issues...

I have been taking progesterone suppositories for about 2 weeks now and I still haven't gotten AF yet.  I'm now on CD 33 and I usually start on CD 28, or 30 at the latest.  Took a HPT when I got home from work yesterday (the early result kind) and it was a BFN :(  But, today - still no AF!  This is my 1st month on prog., so I'm clueless.  I have no PMS symptoms, but I'm quite certain I'm not pg because of the HPT.  Should I stop taking the prog. and see what happens.  I called the doc and the girl who answered seemed clueless, too.  I guess they are going to try to call the dr and see what's up. Has this happened to anyone else taking progesterone?

If you're sure you're not pg, I would stop the progesterone. It's probably keeping AF from starting.

Thanks.  Turns out they want to do a blood test just to make sure I'm not pg before I stop taking it, but that's what I will probably end up doing.

Yes, the progesterone will keep AF from coming....thank goodness that you are on top of things....why wouldn't they tell you to do bloodwork after the TWW anyway....b/c you are taking the progesterone??? strange huh???  well, good luck with the bloodwork...

The nurse was surprised that I haven't started AF yet and kept saying, "maybe you are pregnant -  Maybe you Ovulated the week after you thought."  Well, either way that would be a problem, b/c I stopped BDing the first week when I got a + OPK!!!  I think I'll end up obn Provera if AF doesn't start on it's own.  Oh my, how I DO love TTC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

HI, This is my first time posting a comment, Where do I get started. First we have been tring to concieve (conceive) for over 3 years,I've Had every test in the book,I've had 9 iui cycles with drugs no luck, This last cycle was my best however, The Dr. called me to tell me my progesterone level is at 7.5. So i started taking progesterine supplaments, Should i just assume im not pregnant? Is it possible to be pregnant and have a healthy baby. I am extreamly frustrated Please say a prayer for me.
