Progesterone suppositories

For those of you that take progesterone suppositories, how much white discharge should be coming out? i took my first one last night and today I had what seemed like a MASSIVE amount of white chalky discharge. My dr said that discharge was normal but that much??? I feel like the whole pill came out in discharge so i think how can this possibly be working?

I use prog supps too and my doc also says that it is normal. The amount of discharge differs, there are days when there is almost none and others when I feel it has all come out. My doc says doesn't matter but once in a while when I feel that it has all come out I put another one in the morning... just occasionally.
Do you use an applicator? I find I can push it in more with one so there is less discharge.

i just use my finger. what kind of applicator do you use?? is it something the pharmacy could provide?

My doc had some samples so I got them from him. I find then easier than the fingers, try asking the pharmacy or your doctor.
BTW When I used an extra one I told my doc at the next visit that one night I thought it all came out so I used another in the morning. He didnt seem too concerned.

The amount of discharge varies for me as well... I believe that as long as it was in all night, you do no have to worry about the discharge the following morning. I do not use an applicator- but feel I am doing fine without it.

I agree, I'm on the suppositories as well and the discharge varies.  One day it looked like the whole amount came out but other days I don't see any.  I am six days post 3day transfer, waiting is the worst!!  I"m a nervous wreck!

I had a large amount come out again today. Hmmmm and I'm feeling crampy which is giving me discouraging thoughts. I'm 4 days past my first IUI.

nessa- I agree, the waiting is WAY difficult! Good Luck to you!

Kris- I don't think you should be discouraged. It is very normal to have cramping, especially if you used clomid or another medication.... your follies are bigger and you tend to feel everything more. Also, if you are pg, that can account for an increase in discharge, so stay positive!
