Progestrone capsules in 1st trimester
I was on infertility treatment for the last 4years,I am suffering from PCOS.I conceived after IUI in last october.I was priscribed to take Progestrone 200mg capsules twice daily vaginally.Still I had the missed abortion in 12/01/2008,Is it because of the capsules?Is there any chance for me to conceive in future?
No the progestrone is just to help the baby implant better. I take prometrium 200mg 3x a day and so far I haven't MC both other pregnancies I lost them without the progestrone.....but I am having multiples is why I take more...
The progesterone capsules are meant to a try to avoid m/c. I doubt it was the cause. Sometimes these things just happen.
