Well i had my docs appointment, and not good news. I lost the baby, I guess i knew deep down something was wrong, but i just wanted to have some hope. Anyway, i will be going to hospital on friday to have it sorted out. So hopefully everything will be fine next time. Good luck with your pregnancy and thanks for the support
I wouldn't worry too much about the progesterone levels. I found out I was pg at 2 wks 6 days and my progesterone level was 32.36 one week later progesterone dropped to 18.23 5 days later it went up slightly to 18.56. My doctor never did put me on extra progesterone. The last time I had it checked I was 5 wks 2 days and it was 21.72. So sometimes it can go back up by itself. I am currently 10 wks (today) and all is going great with the baby. We have our 3rd ultrasound (NT testing) done Nov 15th. I will be 12 wks 3 days then. I was worried about my progesterone at first but my doctor seemed to think it would go back up in given time by itself and it did. He said if it would have dropped below 12 then he wold have worried a bit and got me on something. But all ended up well. I hope the same happens with you!! Good luck to you and your lil bean!!!!
Thanks, the nurse wants to wait for the u/s as already on proges disposstires(can't spell). Said if all fine the doc should put me on higher does. This is my 4th blood test and my levels for proges has been really good, the nurse reckons the bleeding could of affected the levels
I got my bfp at 4wk2d and progesterone was 20. Dr said average is 21 but 20 was good enough. I went back 48 for another hcg and prog test. Hcg had doubled but progesterone had gone down to 16. Went back 48 hours later and progesterone had went down to 11. Dr asked if I could leave work to go pick up prescription of progeserone suppositories, so I did and started them that afternoon. At my next blood test (can't remember how many days later) my progesterone was 39. Tomorrow I will be 22wks so it has all worked out very well. I don't now what your level is, but I don't think you want it to get much lower than 10. I would insist on progesterone ASAP.
Best of luck to you and congrats on your pg.
