Prolactin out the Roof!

Hello My name is Ebony and I just recently found out that I have High Prolactin levels.. I have been TTC for a good 1 1/2 and no luck. I had the HSG test done this past Monday and my tubes were perfect!! Thank God. The Dr had me test twice for Prolactin and the first test it was in the high 190's and the last test from last week was 109.9.. He said it should be close to 30! Now the issue is I have regular periods every month like clock work and Im showing no signs of Ovulation.. I've had Breast milk in my breast for sometime now but it didnt bother me because I've been pregnant twice. I took Bromocriptine for 1day and had to stop because it was to strong and now im going to start Dostinex 1/2 pill twice a week and Pray that it works this time.. My side effects with the Bromocriptine was to much for me.. I have an MRI scheduled for next week to check my Pituitary Glad as well. I hope that I can get this situation resolved soon because I am so ready to conceive...

High prolcatin levels like that usually will indicate a pituitary tumour. They are treatable and always non-cancerous.  Good thing your doc ordered an MRI.   If you do have one they can be treated with medication or if very large they can be surgically removed.
