Prometrium after IUI

I recently underwent IUI after Clomid, Follistim and Ovidrel, in that order. Since my IUI i have been on Prometrium twice a day. My question is... will i get a period if not pregnant while taking Prometrium?

Some get their periods anyway, but other have to stop taking prometrium before AF shows. They usually tell you to take it until you take a pregnancy test, then if positive, you'll continue to take it, and if negative, you'll stop. Best of luck!

I agree with Heather. I'm on Prometrium too (hate it, rather do PIO).  I did the same thing as you minus the Follistim.  When I did IVF and was on PIO I actually had a period on it, so everyone is different! Good luck to you! How many days past your iui are you?

I'm 9 days post IUI. I started with breast tenderness yesterday, unsure if its "period" breast tenderness or... i'm trying to think positively, as i suppose we all do. My preg test is on the 13th. I'm so glad i found this forum it really does help to talk with people who truly understand. Thank you.

I know what you mean- I started bb tenderness at 5dpiui and I think its just AF tenderness.  I get it every other month or so...Good luck on your pg test. Mine is on the 15th!
