Prometrium or birth control pill

Hi, I am Rekha 33yrs old, I have irregular periods and i was on birth control pills for some yrs and now TTC so i am on prometrium and clomid to ovulate. I have PCOS and Thyroid( Normal )
Clomid didnot work on me. and due to all these high doses of clomid and prometrium i was so depressed and no results of pregnancy. My hair is thining a lot. please help me. if anyone is going with same difficulty.
The doctor said that i should go for injectables. And i am little scared since there is 40% chances of twins / triplets. my husband is not at all ready to take risk on this. For now i am taking break.
my question is should i go on birth control pills or just continue on prometrium  to get a period. if i am not trying to get pregnant - whats the best medicine to get period since i don't get regularilly. sometimes i just get a small spots and my periods come in  one and half month on 2 months.

By being on Clomid there is a 5-10% chance to having twins. Prometrium is a pill that will help with your progesterone levels. This will help to induce a period but it also helps with a pregnancy in the first trimester as well. If you go back on birth control you need to remember that it’s also a contraceptive. If it were me I would try to stay away from birth control because it sounds like you still want to TTC but afraid of the possibility of having twins.
