Provera and period

Has anyone gotten their period before they stopped taking provera pills?

hi, this same thing happened to me, and i posted and no one had experienced it before. My last cycle, it came on day 7 and doctor said fine and stop it.  this cycle it started on day 4. the doctor said take one more day, day 5 and then stop. ( i was suppopsed to be on for 10 days). so hope this helps.

I haven't, but I would imagine anything is possible.  I know that technically the way provera causes your period is in the stopping of the provera.  Since your body normally produces progesterone and then stops before af, it's the drop in progesterone that "activates" af.  However, if you haven't been on it that many days, I could see how if you were actually about to get your period naturally, that you may just get it anyway.  I personally think anything is possible.  If this is the case - you should be happy you don't have to take the pills anymore :o)
