Provera for 8 days will I still get AF?

Hi ladies so I was given provera to get AF, I am coming off my second cycle of clomid I did not ovulate so I did not get a period. I forgot to take pill number 9 last night and I figured that if I took it this morning it would be too late and screw everything up, is taking provera for 8 days long enough to induce my period after I stopped?
The first time I did take provera for 10 days and about 2 days later I got AF. I just am impatient to start my third round of clomid.
Any advice or insight would be much appreciated.

TTC 10 months- Have PCOS
10 days provera period 2 days after
1st round clomid 50mg CD4-8 Ovulated BFN
Got period on my own-30 day cycle
2nd round clomid 100mg CD4-8 No Ovulation BFN
8 days provera waiting for AF
3rd round clomid 100mg CD3-7 praying for BFP
