Provera

I have PCOS and have always had irregular periods. I am 34 years old and my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a few years.  My doctor put me on provera to induce my period...I have taken the  5 day dose ending over two weeks ago and still no period.  I took a pregnancy test before and since I didnt get my period I took one after just to be sure and both were negative.  I have had period cramping ever since I started taking it and heartburn has anyone else ever experienced this?

I have taken it a few times before and have never had a problem...I called the doctors office and they told me to wait a few more days.  Im just getting upset because I am suppose to start clomid next month and obviously cant start until I get this situation figured out. Plus I dont think my Doctor realized I am not getting any younger and she keeps trying different options before she puts me on clomid.
