Hi. I'm 22 years old and I went 5 months without my period. My doctor put me on provera for 12 days and I got my period soon after I finished the dosage. Now, a month later when I was supposed to get my period without taking anything, I haven't. So basically I took the provera, got my period and now I haven't gotten the next period. I'm not sure what to do. Should I go back to the doctor and tell them that I'm having irregular periods once again or should I just wait it out? Thanks
Frustrating, I know! It sounds like although you got your period, that maybe you did not ovulate. So a new cycle cannot start. I would call your dr back and tell them this and then maybe check about also being put on Clomid to ovulate. That would then ensure that your next period comes.

Thank you so much for responding. I'm not trying to get pregnat I just want a regular cycle. I called my OB-GYN and I have an appointment first thing tomorrow morning. I'll post back :) thanks again!!!
I hope that it works for you! Hopefully they figured out what is going on and everything is going well for you!
I went to the DR today and found out that I have a thick uterus lining so that is stopping me from having a period! I had one for two months straight but I haven't had one in close to 5 months.. They put me on Provera and I have to go back after my next cycle, I hope this puts everything back on track!
