Question about BBT before IUI

HELLO! I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am using donor sperm through artificial insemination but not on any fertiltiy drugs and the doc was having me take the OPK's to determine when the LH surge and then this last month I took temperature and used the BBT chart and this is where I am confused. When the Clear Blue Easy test detected that I was surging, I looked at my chart and it showed that I probably would have ovulated three days earlier becasue that is when my temperature dropped and it was up there when the OPK showed I was surging. Is there a way to do your temperature in predicitng when to go in for my IUI???

Usually, the dr will give you a trigger shot to make o happen when doing IUI.  Sometimes the Lh can linger in your body making it look like o happened a day or two later, also. The 1st day your temp goes up(then stays up)is usually 1dpo.
