Question about MSG(Monosodium glutamate)

I have heard that eating food that has MSG during pregnancy might cause harm to the baby. Is it true? Also, I wanted to know if its alright to have food with msg when you are ttc. I just had Progresso chicken noodle soup and that contained msg.

My opinion only: I think it isn't good to have it often, although I would try to not consume it.  But since you did already, I am sure it will be fine.
