Question about clomid

Last month/cycle I did clomid with iui. I didn't get pregnant. This cycle we tried naturally. No clomid or iui. My cycle is always 27 days long although last cycle on clomid and progesterone af was 3 days late. My question is, can  clomid affect the next cycle even if you haven't taken it in 2 months? Today is day 27 andno af yet. I haven't taken an hpt because I have no pregnancy symptoms and all af symptoms but I want to know if any one else has experienced a cycle change after clomid.
