Question after failed IVF :(

Hi ALL,

We have unexplained infertility. My first IVF failed on Aug 11th. I have followup appointed on 17th Aug . I want to know what all questions should I ask???

Is there any test to know about endo?? and also to check implantation???

Laparoscopy can check for endo although if you are doing ivf you do not need a lap.  There is no test for implantation.  It is not well understood why some embryos implant and some do not.

I too am so sorry that your IVF cycle didn't work out.  There is some test to test the uterine lining - a friend on this forum had it done named Mature Momma.  They found something on that test, corrected it and then she got her BFP on the next cycle but keep in mind she did a donor cycle too (she was 45 at the time).  Ask about it and see what your re says.

Perhaps you could ask about that as well as what Helen suggested - I hope things work out better next time and you get your BFP :-)) - jen
