Question

Hi, i had my iui on the 24th my doc told me to test after 12days which on monday, is it possible to know before the 12days?? i tested on tuesday cause i couldnt wait, the results were possitive then tested today it's negative :( am confused,

Did you do an HCG trigger shot before the iui? That will make you get a positive test for about 10 days or so after the shot (sometimes up to 14 days, according to my doctor). The good news is that if you got a negative test today, that means that the shot should be out of your system so you will know a positive test after today is a true positive! I got a positive 12 days post iui, some women get positives at 9 or 10 days post iui, but some don't get positive until 14 days day after. Good luck!

I also tested today, 9 days after my HCG trigger shot and got a negative. I also tested 4 days after the shot and got a positive.  I dont know if this is good news or bad news but I at least know the HCG shot is out of my system.  I'm in the same boat as you not knowing if the results can go from negative to positive if you test too early.  Stay positive, I wish you the best of luck.  I also posted a similar question and if I get any response I will let you know.

If you tested 4 days after then that was too early & false positive.  When is your blood test?
Did you do IVF or IUI?

I did neither IVF or IUI.  They wanted me to go with IUI but my husband hates ejaculating in a cup and nothing is wrong with his sperm.  Since this is our first round of using drugs to assist in ttc my dr just told me what day to have intercourse.  I take my preg test on Friday, 3/11 but if it comes back negative I will be trying IUI for the next round.

HI, I did the HCG shot before IUI, I tested yesterday and i got negative results :(, I counted my preducre day as my 1st day, my dr. told me to test after 12th day, I feel cramps all the time in my abdomen since i got IUI done, this morning I'm feeling it in my left overay only!!! not sure what it means!!,

I'm not going to test anymore, I'm just going to wait until sunday,
