I have never heard of this. I have always read that only hcg can do that. Interesting. Well, hopefully many will not be taking aspirin due to potential bleeding.
That's plain weird. I asked my reg dr(not ob) and he said no way. lol Who knows what to think. I guess we could post it on the dr forum and ask dr dave.
I forgot to ask, did you get a beta hcg done while there? AND?????? BFP???
I don't believe that apirin cause postive HPT. I've been taking an aspirin a day for since mid feb. I've been checking for BFPs and getting BFN's several times, and I mean several.
I finally got a BFP, and it was confirmed with blood test. Last week on Weds it was BFN and then on thursday...very very faint line.
I would have been really mad and raised hell with the makers of St. Joseph's baby aspirin.
I have been taking an adult aspirin once or twice a day by doc. orders for 8 yrs because I have problems with clotting. I ceased aspirin when I was pg. due to a new dr. orders and then a blood clot blocked the umbilical cord which led to a still birth. So I went back on aspirin, I have been ttc for almost 2 years since and never received a false positive. I would ask for an explanation on how it could cause a false positive, if they cant give you one, I wouldnt believe them.
Hi, I had a progesterone blood test last week, which I found out the results yesterday. I never ovulated, level was 3, so therefore no way I could be preg. She has put me on another round of clomid, as I have not ovulated in 2 months. Thanks for asking anyways. Goodluck
